Hi, looking for an official responce from the YOYOGAMES team.
is it actually against the EULA for me to decompile a game that I created for the purposes of continuuing its development?
the EULA is vague on this point, it states you cant decompile exe's created with the game, but surely it should be ok for my to decompile something I made?

It's Not illegal to "decompile " your own game...........however......
You will have a big challenge to do so!!
Game Maker exe. files are "wrapped" with an encryption. So....you will first
have to..."unwrap" the encryption and then use a Delphi 7 decompiler from Borlund ( NOT FREE) a bit expensive actually, and even then........you will only
be able to recover a small amount of information.
Did you not realize that Game Maker creates a backup file that you can control the number of backups it creates? In the case of GM6.1 it creates a gb file.
Don't WASTE your time on DECOMPILING efforts !!
