Hello everyone, I'm Clayton, a member of the YoYo team. I've been asked to post a few basic guidelines in the style of Sophie's Rules, but a little more on the general, just-being-nice side of things:

1. Game Submissions. Please submit your game once and only once. It might seem clever, but we’ll remove duplicates and you will waste downloads and reviews on the copies of the games that get deleted.

2. Stealing bits of other games is not allowed without the permission of the original content owner. If you see someone else who has used original content, from someone who is also a member of the GMC or YYG community, then ask THEM to alert us. Put simply the OWNER of the content needs to complain before we can fix it.

3. If you use offensive language in game descriptions and titles or your user ids and they get flagged, then you will be asked to change them. If you don’t do this we might need to remove your userid and/or your game which would make us (genuinely) sad …so please co-operate with these requests.

4. Offensive language in posts and comments will be edited or removed without notice if they are flagged.

5. Inflammatory language will most likely result in you getting some inflammatory language in return…so don’t start fights…if necessary we’ll defuse any scraps by removing and editing your comments.

6. If you post games in the wrong category we will ask you to re-submit. This might mean losing valuable comments and reviews, so think carefully before you post in the worng category…i.e. a Finished game means it just that…WIP means that it isn’t finished and Beta means you think it’s complete , but it still needs work !!
