Im sorta new to c++,
is there any way to run a .exe with a function or something.
Help or a link would be nice.

Sort of new? With a question like that, I recommend you get a book.

yeah where can we get a book i've been interested also...
and lay off nanoworks, your not a mod you can't tell people what to and what not to post

Actually, this is in the general chat section. Almost all of the topics don't have to do with gamemaker. He has every right to make this topic.

My suggestion would be to go to the library and find some books on it. That's what I did. But I must war you, you'll probably get bored with it quickly because of its limitations, so I would recommend learning gamemaker. : )

Limitations? GameMaker has way more limitations.

limitations? C++ has far fewer than GML. most of the really advanced commercial games are created with C++ or different versions of C++

I guess what I'm trying to say is that you have to go a lot farther in C++ to get to a level where you can actually make quality games and programs. GM is pretty easy to pick up, and yet it is deep enough to satisfy the best of game designers.
