Hey have you ever noticed that almost every game is four stars or less. Even the most popular games get only four stars. They do not much higher anymore. If you see a six or five star game it will soon be lowered to three four two or one.

It's called downraters, the source of all evil.

4 stars are fine.

If you look at mine, it's 3.9, 3.9, 3.9, 3.8, 3.8, 2.7 and I forgot the other...

Wow I date and openly admit I'm a nerd. Mostly I show them my games and forget them.

Anyways some of my games are really creative and get down-rated

yeah... all 4 star games are top quality.. because you have to consider the star bombers...

LOL. My thoughts exactly. I just broke up with a girl, so don't count me in this whole "no dating" thing.

Anyways, as $pecter said, it's in the median. Between 3 and 4 technically; good games will gravitate towards 4, bad games will gravitate towards 3. Actually Ancient Ants adventure had about 4.3 for a while, dunno if it still does.

You know, I've actually been able to rate 'Lizardmen' twice, and I don't know why... maybe it's a secret trick downraters use to downrate games eternally? Well, that might explain the downgravitating of the good games? I've always tought that the top-ten games would've been invincible against downrating thanks to countless extatic votes, but they've all fallen down again... Varia, Return To Sector Nine, J20, Karoshi 2...
It seems that the only safe way to get players is to advertise your game in your signature and post a million of times... So that's what i do.

flamers at the very least, people who "comment downrate" never seem to have any thing good on their side of the computer screen.

if you had a daownrater's guild and a noobly programers guild i bet the same people would be in both

My game has four stars but only 7 people have played it. I wonder why?

4.0, 4.0, 3.9, 3.9, 3.9, 3.9, 3.8, 3.8, 3.8, 3.8, 3.7, 3.6 are my games' ratings. The 4.0s are the two newest games (so they'll likely be 3.9 or less in a few days) and the 3.6 is a competition entry. I have a WIP at 4.3.

So pretty average throughout, as are most people's games. Once 4.0 (or 3.9) is hit, games tend to get forgotten.

Yeah, after I get 3.9, it's rare that I get even a play.
