WOO FOR PRIME 3 ^_^. Tommorow The Other 2 Videos Show BUt The Ones They Have Now Look Awsome ^_^. Super Metroid Is My Favorite 2D Platform Game With Super Mario World Coming Up As 2nd And Third Coming With Mario Bros. WOO FOR METROID! I Hope That The Bosses Will BE Nice And Tough. No Fun If You Don't Almost Die After The Boss. That Tells You It's Too Easy ^_^... Or At Least To Me Anyways.

I think the wii-mote will pose some new challenges for bosses. But yeah, I hope so too (but there's always hard mode, hahaha). The new hunters look neat, I think the purple lady is a villain though. Maybe the others too (blue guy), but moreso purple. I think that 50 unit Phazon marine squad will end up fighting you as well And the space pirates look cool again unlike their prime 2 look.

Their Music Also Changed. Sounds A Bit Better. But Yah, I Really Hope Meta Ridley Makes A Bigger Challenge This Time ^_^

I hope kraid makes an appearance like he was going to in Prime.

But How Will HE Come Back? Samus Killed Him And He Was Blown Up At Zebes. The Only Reason Ridley Keeps Living Is Because They Made Him A Robot.

I hope they don't turn Prime 3 in "just another first person shooter" like they did with Hunters for the DS .
And also,in my opinion,Super Metroid is the best and the "Last true Metroid game".The standards that Super Metroid set for the series,has not been reached,even less surpassed by any other Metroid game after it.

What The HEck Are You Talking ABout D-Mente? Sure Super Metroid Was Awsome, I Mean, Really Awsome, Super Awsome, But That Doesn't Mean That It Was The Last True MEtroid Game. Besides, I Doubt They ARe GOign TO Make Metroid Prime 3 Like "Any Other First Person Shooter" Because Metroid Prime 1 And 2 Weren't Even Lke Any I've Ever Played.

I think flashy graphics has affected peoples way of looking at games.I really don't know how long has it been since you played Super Metroid,I hasn't played it in a long time myself,but i know it was and still is the greatest and no amount of polygons and motion controllers is ever going to change that.
And like i said,Super Metroid set standards that have been forgotten by the passing of time.Perhaps they are to busy now trying to look good and trying to be a Halo killer to care about that anymore.

To say the series has gone downhill or anything like that is just wrong. You may have like Super Metroid better than the rest of the games but that doesn't mean that the rest aren't just as quality titles. I love Metroid Prime, it's my favorite game ever and I didn't really focus on it's graphics, I love it's puuzle-solving and exploration based gameplay coupled with amazing boss battles, story, and intricate descriptions of every little thing in the game world. If you refer to the 3D games not being as good as the 2D ones, keep in mind that, all major Nintendo franchises were eventually going to make the switch to 3D. Because they didn't do it during the major transition period on the N64, a lot of people get this feeling that Metroid Prime is too different from the rest of the series instead of recognizing it for the greatness it is, on par with Ocarina of Time for the Zelda series, and Mario 64 for the Mario series. They will continue to make both 3D and 2D Metroid games for some time to come, most of which will be of the similar high quality expected of a Nintendo title, even if Super Metroid is still your favorite ten years down the road.

The Valhala movie is my favorite on the Prime 3 preview. It sets the mood just perfectly.

Ok dudes,here is the truth.When i sow the name of this topic i just knew it was going to be full of Metroid fans and i wanted to mess around with you guys.Just drop a few bad metroid comments to see you all going mad at me and stuff.Im,sorry.I wont do it again.
But seriously now,i do like Super Metroid better,and i do think Metorid Prime Hunters for the DS is really bad and the worst in the series(i was so disappointed).I am also a Metroid fan and i loved Metroid Prime,and have played every Metroid game but Echoes(i never bought a game cube)and they are all great games.My only real complaint about the new series would be that some of the adventuring has been lost because of all those reminders you get of what to do next and the fact that the next place you got to go is always marked in the map.But that is just me,and i am a bit of an old gamer(i like the old school ways of doing things)so don't let my comments ruin your topic anymore.

Yeah dude,im really sorry.And about Metroid Hunters,if you want to play a first person shooter based on the Metroid universe,then you could like this game,but if you are going there looking for another great Metroid adventure,you will be disappointed.The worst of Hunters is the controls,and i dont mean they don't work,they do,but any control scheme that makes your hands hurt and get cramped has got to be wrong.

Well, I think it should give you some hint eventually if you get stuck for hours (as I often do, even with hints). And you could always turn the hint system off guys. . . .

I love my DS and would love to see another Metroid for it,but this time it should be either 2d or a side scroller like the old ones but with 3d graphics.(like new super mario that uses 3d models for char. and enemies)And don't forget that if it wasn't for the DS you wouldn't be playing Wii today.

They are all over Metroid Prime.

They Are? I Didn't See Them... Mainly Because I Have No Idea What They Were. To Me, They Looked Like Monsters Wearing Tiki Masks At The Screen With Spikes Protruding Out Of It's Head.
