Didn't interest me, I saw it on Youtube too, still didn't interest me.

But it may be a good game, I just don't like those kinds of games. Except Halo.

Fair enough. I only donwloaded it to see what all the buzz was about. Its kinda cool. A bit off putting though because Im still new to this game I sometimes play some reallllly hard advanced players.

It depends if people build absolutely loads it can slow down a little but its rare. The main problem is lag. Which depends on who is hosting. I should lag a little but that's only during the day. On a night I can take the phone out and get a brilliant connection.
Also that's a really old version of Sapphire Tears, and the framerate of the video is bad.

and the topic is here: http://gmc.yoyogames.com/index.php?showtopic=291170

I used to play it a lot, but with 64Digits being laggy atm less people play it. - The badges system for 64D (the real goal in sapphire tears was collecting badges which you could showcase at 64 digits) doesn't work atm.. - I dont play atm (+I can't host, my ISP only wants NAT enabled and you'll have to disable it to have incomming connections).

I didn't like it that much, is there a way of playing it without having to make a level first (or is that just done by joining a game?)

well you could join a game in a DM mode.. Though making maps is part of the "game" there really. - It's important to make your own base very quickly in like 3-4 mins in such a way you can defend your own core easily. (at ctc obviously)

other than that you can try to go to the reflect games forums and download some maps there - there are a few really neat maps made.. Which you can load and use in freeplay!
