I'm a little confused since I've been gone for a while.

What happened that there are now "virtual" locks for topics? You know, people CAN post but aren't allowed to or they risk banning.

Did something happen to the lock power the mods have?

I think it's because of the upgrading done to YYG.

There was a glitch (That appeared after YYG was upgraded) that prevented the Mods from locking a thread, I think it was fixed however.

I can speak for at least one mod I've talked to extensively on this...though I dunno if he has internet anymore...
The mods still cannot lock threads. Yes, this was because of the upgrade. I think there are some other glitches involving mods powers too, such as the inability for anyone to be taken off the mod list--hence the reason GZ and NAL still have the "moderator" title under their name.

It's really annoying -_-

So.. The "up"grade has affected the mods' abilities? Jeez all this "up"grade has done has made things not work, my pms don't reply properly, stars disappeared..

When a moderator clicks the "Edit" button to the right of the topic name, it leads them to an error. That means that their titles can't be changed, and they can't be locked, stickied, unstickied, unlocked or moved.

im always wondering what they actually did when the page are down for a few days and when it comes back up you see nothing actually changed, other than there is alot of bugs on the site
