Well a lot of reviews are currently of "bad" quality. Or well just lack much critisism.
I'm here to help you guys with your game making skills. I'll be making reviews at which I especially try to focus on gameplay and originality (though clone games can be "original" too, just at your own flavour to it). Sprites and sounds will be less rated. However I'm very, very critical when giving a score, even the best games only get 4-5 stars (I would rate my wip at 3, maybe 4 stars). So don't be disappointed if your game turns out to get only 2 stars, it just means you'll need to improve much :).

My personal experience with reviewing I've got to say isn't very high, I've only done a few reviews here and there. - At one point I was a reviewer at Nalicity (an UT map site) though I forgot my login etc a couple of years ago already :P. But for the rest I didn't really review much, except at school where my "review skills" safed my life at dutch lessons.
Anyway to show this isn't only thin air I'm talking here, >here< is a sample review. (My other review is from sub-standard, I rated the game waaay to high).

My idea of this system is simple and as following:
I'll try to look at this topic a couple of times a day (probably 3 times during weekdays and multiple times during weekdays) at those times I'll look for new posts. Reviewing I'll do at basicly a chronological order: the first posts first! However beta/incomplete games I'll do earlier since I think these benefit more from a review than finished games. Similar I'll review "good looking" (not only graphics, but you get what I mean) games earlier than the bad ones (and really bad games -I decide- I won't review at all!).
Whenever I reviewed a game I'll update the corresponding "newest reviews" list (and maybe also "best games"), and I'll add a small post with a very short description of all numbers in your rating!

If you don't post in this layout I might accidentally "overlook" your game - if you don't want to spent time asking a review, why should I spent time making you one?

Overal rating: 3.7 / 6 stars
The gameplay really "safed" this game (but it is really a potential pearl) (5 stars)
The game lacked really "quality" graphics and sounds, though they're both decent and sufficient! (4 and 3 stars)
You should've thought a bit better for some kind of learning curve in your game though (2 star)
The biggest problem with the game were the interface problems, both jumping in single player -space- as well as in multiplayer -T- are bad choises for keys (2 stars)

Overal rating: 2.6 / 6 stars
This game just lacked the real gameplay: it was too small and too little replay value: (2 stars)
The graphics and sounds were pretty "neat" except for few "bugs" in the graphics, yet they are, again, too basic (3 and 2 stars)
The story starts off "great" but is then completely abandoned (3 stars)
the interface is pretty good. The key sensitivity is really good, and though only basic interface possible, they fit the game well (4 stars)
The biggest problem with this game is simply that it's too small, there's too little of everything!

Woops sorry I've been very busy over the weekend, couldn't do 1 review a day (which I try to do) anyway I finaly finished the review about ridicule:

overal: 2.9 / 6 stars
sound and graphics are really good (resp. 5 and 4 stars)
gameplay really missed to hit the spot here, you basicly don't let the player controll the game! (2 stars)
story: no story, but the learning curve isn't too bad (3 stars)
interface (see gameplay 2 stars)
The biggest problem in this game is simply that you can't really "control" the game: you because the view is scroll putting the bad in the middle of the screen works best (and always stops the ball).

I'm trying to do 2 reviews tomorrow so keep them coming.. (ow and sorry scissor and bobserge: your game is a bit too simple to put a full length review and I can't review tools).

Wow, thanks for another thorough review I'll submit another game after you've done some by other people.
