The avatars come out really distorted. It would be really nice if it could be worked on.

Yeah, the avater settings suck. It's pretty stupid that images are stretched so large on profile pages; it also sucks that PNG's can't be used (even though it states on the avatar page that they can).

Mine is fine... I like how they come out. Even if they could be a little bit bigger...
POST EDIT: When you edit your account you will see that it specifies a size for the avatars so they won't look that distorted.

Actually mines scaled down. Just have bigger avatar and it will get scaled down and look sharper.

It's fine if you have a photo or cgi image or something. But for those of us who like having crisp pixel art pictures it's an annoyance.
