Does anyone have a good line of sight example or a link for one. I have tried to search on the GMC but when I login and try to search it logs me out. Please help!

try searching te game maker help for the command collision_line(x1,y1,x2,y2,prec,notme) that is exactly what you need :)

remember if you are activating the shooting mechinism if there is not a collision line put "not collision_line(x1,y1,x2,y2,object,prec,notme)". Go into index instead of search and type what quinlan vos said to. It should come up.
@Quinlan Vos: You forgot to place the object argument in the script. :P

u got some help with the line of sight but i don't know whats wrong with the GMC login. i don't know anything about that kind of things.
