Hello all. I've used Game maker for a while now and a few days ago it gave me this message when I tried to play either online or my own, "Failed to create Direct Music Performance."

I can't think of anything I did to change my computer. All help on how to fix it is greatly appreciated.

is the sound uploaded somewhere so we may try it ourselves?

No, it's just the sounds provided by the game maker, or any other sound files played in the Game Maker.

Go to Game Maker, open the sound file, and uncheck "use media player" or whatever. Otherwise, I don't know.

if your using lite, try just reinstalling it. if you have pro, that's alittle different, because you'd need your key to reactivate it... i'd email softwrap about this, its what their there for.
