Just a suggestion, I know that there is a tab in the "Play" pages that says "Most recent", but how many people actually click that?

I'm just wondering if there could be a spot on the main page, underneath the top 12 that has the 10 newest games published on the site. I think it would be a great way of publicizing new games.

I like to make games, and at the moment my current project is "Halfling's Quest".

New games getting more exposure would be great, but it'd be a luck thing; so many people are posting games at any given time, so every time you refreshed the page the newest games would be different. Like the "new people" on myspace.

True, but with the amount of people on the yoyogames homepage, I think most if not all games would get some publicity from this.

It's already good. Usually newly uploaded games gain comments and reveiws in minutes, though sometimes days. Usually, if you were to want publicity you would post it on a reveiw topic asking if anyone wouldn't mind playing it and commenting, and even put it into your signature, which gives all the exposure to your game.

I like the idea. Now there's the pay attention to area and the ignore area.
*laughing*
No but seriously, I acutally agree with the idea. Although, new games can be found rather easily, nobody ever just runs into them. They have to want to go look for them.
This would be great because you usually can tell a great game from the rest of the chaff. Sure, you only get a screen shot, and sure lots of people post professional images, but most of the time you can tell an original image from a ripped one. And if you can't tell a good image from a poor one...
*rolls eyes*
Now some might say that a game can't be judged by it's graphics. True enough, but how many of the staff picks have poor graphics?
Yeah, my thoughts exactly.

Yes, the answer is not maybe.

I definitely agree with CaKsTeR, but also with SoulRed12

New games would get more publicity, but people might be uploading them so often that they get bumped.

Play my newest game!!!!!

We could hope they do? Or limit uploads per day.

I personally think there should be a "random games of the day" section of yoyogames, where there are 1-3 pages of randomly selected games that change every single day.
